ITC is pursuing new vegetation management easement cases, primarily in Macomb County.

ITC has spent several years expanding their vegetation management easement rights, meaning their right to cut down trees and other vegetation within expanded distances from their existing transmission lines.

I am representing a group of property owners in Macomb County (and one owner in Oakland County) who have received good faith offers from ITC. In addition, I have noticed that ITC is starting to file suits in Macomb County seeking to acquire property rights. These new filings follow on the heels of the resolution of similar cases in Macomb and Wayne Counties pursuant to confidential settlement terms.

I have specialized in representing owners in these types of case for many years. This blog post is specific to ITC vegetation cases.

If ITC is seeking expanded property rights from you, please do not hesitate to contact me.
