ITC Seeking Vegetation Management Easements in Ypsilanti Township
ITC Land Agents Are Seeking Vegetation Management Easements in Ypsilanti Township
ITC is continuing its program of acquiring Vegetation Management Easements along existing transmission lines. ITC started in Salem Township in Washtenaw County, moved across Eight Mile Road into Lyon Township in Oakland County and then focused on lines in Brownstown and Taylor in Wayne County. ITC is back at it again in Washtenaw County, seeking new rights from owners in Ypsilanti Township. I am working to assemble a group of property owners who will benefit from joint representation in that project.
If you have general questions about ITC Vegetation Management cases, I suggest that you read Owners' Guide to Understanding and Responding to an ITC Vegetation Management Easement Request. This post summarizes why ITC is seeking to acquire new rights and links to prior posts that are particularly relevant to owners confronted by ITC.
Please contact me if you have been contacted by ITC about the acquisition of property rights in Washtenaw County or anywhere else in Michigan.
